Scarily normal for people in their late twenties and early thirties.
If I saw pics of my CEO, however, dressed in women's clothing with his head down a toilet "shouting for ralph", that might change the way we interact a wee bit.
I know that won't happen because he doesn't subscribe to any networking sites so all his cross-dressing vomit pics are probably safely stored on his hard drive... | I once had dealings with the German subsidary of a British telecom company. The CEO was a protogee (sp?) of the British COO, i.e. was protcted by him, and gay. Not that this bothered me but he got himself photographed at the Berlin love parade in tight shorts and a vest dancing on one of the floats.
You cannot imagine the stream of invective from his colleagues on the board, with whom I was dealing. Despite the fact that I was busy getting them turfed out of their jobs, we had a slight disagreement over a trifling million CHF, every telephone conversation would begin on the lavel of "Dieser Schwule Sau ... " and continue from there.

I received 2 notifications via Facebook that said "official warning, you have been reported to Facebook" and immediately worried that somebody had accessed my account and posted something inappropriate.
Apparently it is this: Facebook hit by two rogue apps in a week | 26 Feb 2009 | ComputerWeekly.com
Facebook is a single point of failure that could publicly embarrass me in front of everybody I know.

Mr Peachy, you might want to reconsider some of the comments you made about your job here, which your boss might come across. StC is bound to come under the same close scrutiny from employers after it has surpassed Facebook in popularity (a mere matter of days) so you would be well advised to post with a modicum of caution.

So in the US a Facebook account has been used as evidence which his been upheld in court, and the defendant got off as a result.
I would say the world has gone mad, but this was a US court, it has yet to be tried in a proper court.

I love the opening line in the video, "I was literally sitting at my desk. I had nothing to do anyway I was just sitting there kind of bored...."
Perhaps the company should have said that she was fired because they had nothing for her to do..... Ah well, who knows, maybe they'll enjoy the publicity.

| | Re: Facebook - friend or foe? Tim Berners Lee warns against third-party internet snooping Quote:
In its simplest form, a single website, such as the online retailer Amazon, will keep a record of which pages a user has visited and show them relevant advertisements the next time they visit.
But privacy concerns arise when records of web activity are shared or sold to other commerical third parties, particularly if they involve a popular search engine such as Google, which stores millions of users' searches.
| I know I wasn't happy a year or so ago when Google suddenly started including Usenet postings in the standard search results (prior to that, you had to deliberately look in a specific news group).
