Default Formula One: 2009 roundups

Hi all
I am/was a big fan of F1, since the Schumacher era.
There will always be different opinions on drivers, rules, teams and so on.
So I thought it may be good to start a thread here.

2009, Brawn team pulls away with 4 wins out of 5 races. Hmm.
Jenson Button seems to be the red hot fav to go for the championship.

Hamilton, Massa, Raikonnen, and other big names are behaving like sour grapes and complain about the car, rules, budget caps and so on.
They are not racing, but they are bitching around with words.

So, lets see if there are other people here who have some other insights about this wonderful sport of F1.

I'm not sure that I would classify it as a sport (althought I'm aware of the great physical demands on the driver). I was outside the house that a Finish driver bought last week. He is moving to a secret location opposite girls classmate.

Many moons ago, I once thought racing drivers are the "laziest" bunch of so-called sportspeople....they just drive around...so easy right?...

...until I tried real kart racing myself. (goto spreitenbach)

If that is not physical demands on the body, I don't know what it is. A F1 race can drain the driver fo 5-10kg of fluids and they need to be focusing all the time to clock the best laptimes.

Also F1 is so competitive, they will pull all stops to get an advantage, not to mention the big mega bucks involved.

Anyway, I can emphatise with people who do not think it is a sport....I once was like that too.

Last year...Ferrari chef said this.

This year, they threaten to quit F1 in 2010, if there is a financial cap to their budget...

I'd say, let them quit....other players may bring better entertainment and real racing to the sport.
