Does it need to be in Germany? What sort of camping equipment are you looking for? Bivvy bag suitable for the North Face of the Eiger or tent suitable for scout trip to black forest?

It needs to be not overpriced. A portable stove/gas bottle and a camping chair and possibly a self-inflating ...

You probably know about these already but for specialist stuff go to Der Produkte Katalog - Bächli Bergsport AG in Oerlikon, they are not cheap but in my opinion not more expensive than the equivalent items in UK or Germany.

For light camping requirements Obi sell portable gas stoves, chairs and blow up mattresses. Landi also sell portable gas stoves and, IMO, they will be far cheaper and far better quality than you'd get most places, they do camping chairs too but I haven't seen air beds there. You'll need one of the larger Landi stores like the one in Pfäffikon ZH.

Yea it's really true, I've been looking at the lower-end-cost self-inflatables and they are virtually the same price in CH D and USoA, same with stoves and the like.

Form a self inflating air bed (requires power) goto Otto's, a few weeks ago they had load of Intex air beds that looked pretty good.
