Lights of Hope, Basel - Solidarity March for Children with Rare Diseases

What will be happening?
A public show of support will take place in Basel on February 9 to help raise awareness of rare diseases. Starting from Claraplatz and Barfüsserplatz, participants carrying lighted candles will march to Marktplatz, where they will come together to form a candle display with a surprise message. At each starting point, candles will be sold along with a solidarity bracelet, with the proceeds going to support rare disease research in Switzerland.

16:00 - Candle sale begins
18:30 - Procession to Marktplatz
19:00 - Candle display with a surprise message

March with us and show your solidarity!!

Where's the money going?
All funds raised by LIGHTS OF HOPE will be used to support rare disease research. (Although industry will be participating in the event, none of the funds raised will go to industry.) This event is taking place under the patronage of the Basel Department of Health and the University of Basel.
