Turn up at the start pub (Devi's Bar, across from Wiedikon HB), as soon as possible after 17:30, by 19:00 at the latest. You can start when you like and hand in your answers by 22:30, with bonus points for handing in earlier.
You organise into teams of 4 or so (mixed CH / non-CH is best). If you don't have a team we will find you one. When you have a team ready you get the map and questions, which can only be answered in the pubs. This time I'll hand / send out the questions in advance to anyone who has their teams organised, to reduce the crush in the start bar.
We'll start in Devi's Bar across from Wiedikon station / tram (
www.devis-bar.ch). From there we'll visit the bars in sequence. The bars are off the beaten track. Some are new and most are quite small. We'll have an excellent, exotic buffet dinner for CHF 23 per person in pub 4. Bring an open mind and a certain amount of patience, as there will be a wait to be served when lots of us arrive at once. The delights to be found in the bars include Peruvian tequila, exotic whiskys, African beer and cold Bosnian slivovitz.
If you are last to arrive you can follow us and find a team to join. If you plan to arrive after 7:00 I'll suggest where to join us.
This treasure hunt will be quite easy, with a relaxed time limit. There are points for correct answers and anything else we think fit. The theme is cool and you'll get points for good interpretations of this (cool dress, behaviour, colours, drinks, arctic gear, whatever you can dream up).
We'd like organisers to 'manage' bars and act as guides. The advantages of doing this are that you get to meet everyone and you have organiser super powers. Bribery of the organisers will be encouraged, as usual. Any volunteers? Any photographers out there?
