Carlton Hotel Gentlemen's Evening

It has been suggested that we explore the Afterwork party at the Carlton hotel , which is just off Bahnhofstrasse in Zürich on Tues 27th which is two weeks hence. This will be an evening of fun and is not intended to involve lap-dancing or strip-clubs.

Either:

a) show up looking like a million dollars, freshly shaved and wearing copious amounts of Apres-Rasage. The night will be simply be relaxing drinks and a bit of male bonding talking about things we like to talk about.
or
b) show up and get drunk, talk ****e and stay long-time.

Personally I favour option (b). So come along and meet some people. Before you ask, no they aren't. All welcome

It is ridiculous claiming that video games influence children. If Pac-man affected kids born in the eighties, we should by now have a bunch of teenagers who run around in darkened rooms and eat pills while listening to monotonous electronic music....

You are obviously free to indulge as you see fit, but the proviso was intended to not discourage those simply looking for a fun night whose Happy Endings don't require a financial transaction.

It is one of my Principles that I never drink in bars with 'hotel' anywhere in the name.

I actually find Hotel-bars facinating places and don't mind going to them once in a while. You know, a bit of "Lost in translation".
