Sat Nov 8th - Zurich. All day drinking session (with Pies & Cheese of course)
Some of you already know the format - turn up at the Pie Shop (1a Rotbuchstrasse, just off Schaffhauserplatz) anytime from 13.00 - 21.00 for some Spiffing Ales (maybe even some Rappi Gold) or a bottle of wine (or 2) and try some home made pies and good British cheese and pickles to keep you sober, well, sort of.

A great way to spend the afternoon ! The pies had improved markedly since our last visit and the shepherds pie was especially tasty and crispy after a few minutes reheat for us in the oven. The wine at the pie shop was jolly good, although I consider 36CHF/bottle a bit steep for drinking in a shop. I had to take another to be sure...
Jolly Grapefruit's cheese was excellent as usual, even for a non-cheesy like me. Jack's chocolates were exquisite - especially the ginger and lemongrass.
It was a good day and we will be doing it again on December 6th, this time we will also have home made Mince Pies, and Stilton and Port for the Gentlemen whilst the lovely ladies continue with the Christmas Shopping.
We will be serving until 9 or 10 for the serious drinkers.
Indeed. I think Jolly Grapefruit should keep us properly informed of his cheesy lines and duly enter said events in calendar.
