The food served at Kohlmanns is inspired on the recollection of recipes made by the german ingeneer Kohlmann. On the menu we can see French, German, Swiss and even English influences, that are shown in a wide array of ingredients: Schupfnudeln, green lentils, Stilton cheese, smoked salmon, pate ..... They have also a big selection of "Flammenküchen". The restaurant is cozy and most tables are for 6 people, so if you want a table for two you should reserve it. The front part of the restaurant and the tables outside function as a bar as well. They have a menu in English and they welcome you with home-made bread and breadspread.

I liked the food very much. I can recommend the selection of foods in little jars that they offer as first course: you can taste up to four different things in the same dish this way. The service is efficient, although we had to wait more than half an hour between the first course and the main course and it was difficult to find our waitress in order to pay. The prices are not low but you get quality for the money. They open EVERY DAY.

I will definitely come back for more !
