Yeah , probably. It is exacerbated (what does that mean?) by the fact that cars older than three years don't appear on the forecourts of "quality" car dealers, which means caution is adviseable in any case... even more of a worry is that if it has doen more km, then the servicing has not been done (or reported at least) either....

PS: I have seen a lot of Subarus on the road as I have been looking and am unable to find a nice looking one. Since NotSalsaLover mentioned Skodas, I have noticed many of them, usually Fabias. My colleague here has just bought a second new one for his girlfriend, and it wasn't on a buy-one-get-one-free deal.
