| | Day spas around Zurich
I love taking a day off once in a while and having a day at a spa, for a swim, massage, sauna, etc. I usually go to the Panorama Resort in Feusisberg, but will be checking out the Spa at the Dolder Grand next week.
Have not been to the Asia Spa at Sihlcity yet, has anyone been and would you recommend it?

She didn't go in - all those strange men in bathrobes - but IIRC she said it looked nice.

Update on the Dolder Grand Day Spa: it's absolute bliss. Beautifully appointed, with a wide range of facilities and treatments, and excellent service. Great (real) champagne too !!

Just been looking at their price list. I was expecting it to be expensive, but try as I might, I could not find a single treatment under 100CHF .....hold on....whats this ? Here's one....a snip at 80chf: "Walking meditation 45mins 80.00chf
An exciting path to self-awareness for inner balance,
peace and healing. Our programs offer a wide range
of spiritual harmonies."
Excuse my cynicism, but are the charging you 80CHF, and you... walk around with your eyes closed...?
No doubt this technique will help the fleecing to which you are being subjected.

Never said it was cheap Mr Big....
The walking meditation had perhaps 5 mins of walking but was accompanied by other aspects which I know you'd not be interested in.
However I was glad that it was included for free in the package I went for, as it deffo is not worth CHF 80 (nor is it my cup of tea).
For a go-all-out, spoil-yourself-with-exquisite-massages/treatments/pools/saunas/spas etc etc, it was the best I've been to so far. Quote:

Well 80chf will furnish me with bottle of 1989 Hugel Grain Noble Gewurztraminer which will instil a feeling of spiritual-wellbeing without having to walk anywhere. I know this because I did it last night with my eyes wide shut.

that's because you're a thorough man BigD,
so let them ladies have their spas, I am sure you enjoy the result. Freshly relaxed all fair skinned ladies to share a lovely Gewurztraminer with. Quote:
