I couldn't see the dogs while walking them today, then the leaves moved... and I thought of "Predator".

Arnold kickin' A in a big bad way.

If you want to improve your Bääärndüüütsch, "Die Herbstzeitlosen" is a very uplifting film based on a real story. I warmly recommend it.

*thought I'd mention some Helvetic cinema*

I loved Spaced when it was on the telly. I am currently looking forward to December 4th when Madagascar two comes to Switzerland.

it was! and johnny boy rules all over this movie!

dark s.h.i.t.e. was/is crap. after tim burton the style has gone. dunno why i continue watching that rubbish. might be the collectors genes.

new bond= crap. saw it last nite. you can swap actors and you wouldnt notice if you are watching minority report or bourne-thingy... the flair has gone since connery n moore quit. its no bond feel to it anymore. random action crap it is.

bryan forbes - L shaped room
classy!

kubrick-> dunno if he needs recs as he is the ultimate king!?
odyssee, clockwork orange... you name it.

shane meadows - this is england
lovely! i like the low-key atmosphere and the story is tragic but brilliant

hirokazu koreeda - nobody knows
stunning! as this is a real story playing in japan (could be anywhere else)
you gonna ask yourself: what has the world turned into?
its been the first time i asked myself why i end up with such intense films that make me think instead spitting the pocorn out while laughing at jim carey?!

lucia puenzo - xxy
this movie made we wanting to go to south america next year.
another tragic movie, but very intense. i like the rough feel she
shows in that movie of uruguay...the wild water rolling the coast etc.

ok, i gonna stop. ithink nobody is watching my recs anyhow but i wanna see

gomorrah.

its a story based on a book that was a blast in italy as this shows very much details about Naples/italian mafia. anyone seen this movie?

Default Bond , James Bond

I went to see the new JB movie yesterday, and came away a little dissapointed. It was just another Bond movie, without the story line.
No real plot just lots of car chases and viloent explosions. I didnt think it had anything to do with Daniel Criag, but more to do with the story .. there wasnt one ... id give this one a big miss unless your a real bond fan.. watchable yes... interesting definitely NO...
