Hi,
I've been lurking here for a while, it certainly seems like a decent place you've got, is it safe, though?

If you mean "Is it safe?“ as asked by Laurence Olivier, then my answer would be an emphatic yes.

Thank you for the welcome, I've just left another forum, it's seriously funked up over there, all people want to do is insult one another and now some man is furious and possibly on the prowl in Zurich, all because some smart arses couldn't keep their sarky comments to themselves... it gets so tiresome!
Why can't people treat each other with a little kindness and respect?
And all this is encouraged by the moderators, people complain about posts and reputation comments and the mods ban the victims, it happened again only this weekend... seriously, WTF is that all about, and because they don't do anything, I'm afraid to go out in Zurich now where English people meet, thank you EF!
Sorry about the rant, but it's just too much.
I teach maths and geography in ZH, I'm not an English teacher so please excuse my poor spelling | | The following 4 users are grinning broadly at Teacher for this post: | |

Willkommen, Bienvenue and even Benvenuto.
No place is safe in the long run. Nne must keep moving as it is difficult to hit a moving target.
Dont let the internet bullys fret you, as they are pretty harmless in real life, hence the need to act tough on the internet. Its like men suffering from Erectile Dysfunction often resort to physical violence to manifest their Masculinity. (I did'nt say that, I swear)

(I did'nt say that, I swear) | Well there must be a lot of erectile disfunction on that forum (* looks around nervously * I didn't say that, I swear! ) because there is a lot of bullying going on, and as long as the moderators don't do anything about it, apart from banning those who complain, the victims of the bulling, then it will continue to be an unpleasant place to be.
Anyway, thankfully, it doesn't seem to be the case here.
