Dates: the Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

It's sometimes fun and you have a great time and then you spend an evening listening to someone go on and on about their ex (who should be up for sainthood) but as the story unfolds, you find out he/she was a lying, cheating, alcoholic shyster*.

How about some of your stories!

My quickest date was 22 minutes, fast enough to order a coffee, take a sip and then say "I must go, you showed up late (10 min) and time has run out ... so sorry".

Then there was the very "well known" Minister from that website who asked me to be discreet, although he had a pic of himself on holidays posted. His ex was a Saint, none of it made sense, but I did finish my coffee.

My worst experience was a guy from Essex who spent the whole evening telling me he was in CID and regularly went on stake outs (went into great detail of the cameras they used and the pizzas they ordered for the van) and all the "drugs busts" they had done.

It was excruciatingly embarrassing because I knew one of his friends who had previously told me he was a desk sergeant for the local village police and basically was the one that took the details of people that came in to report minor crimes and whinges about noisy neighbours.

To spare his pride I had to feign interest and act suitably impressed with all his stories. Needless to say I made my excuses and didn't see him again.

i once had a "date" where the guy actually wanted me to hook him up with my friend.
so i guess it was a date to get a date...

ARGH! The site was not only for casual sex and it didn't have ads per se- go take a look.

Our man of the cloth was also conducting a memorial service after our date and it evidently went very well (he emailed me).

my favorite odd comment : I'm taking a break from sex

oh and not a date but had an interesting evening at a party, was laying on the couch sleeping later, when suddenly was punched in the face by a jealous girl.
