So when you are on the homepage, you click on this icon to go to this last post:

And instead of going to the post you get a 404 error?

Does the same happen with Firefox/IE ?

Either there is no connection or a 404 error comes up (not all the time, so that could be a prob from my side).

I'll give Firefox a go and see (I will not use IE, I'm allergic to it).

BTW, Thanx for trying to fix what I have mentioned. I realize that I am perhaps not using the same language as you are.

So the issue is intermittent? Are all other websites working ok for you?

Fraser had they same error though so it does point to something cheesy, would be interested to know what browser he was using.

I haven't been able to reproduce this :-(

Can anybody else comment on how the site is running for them?

Latest Safari under OS X Leopard. I've no issues now that I'm work and using XP (other than the fact I'm at work and using XP).

The two browsers you have reported issues with (Chrome and Safari) are both based on the webkit layout engine, so maybe we have a problem there, if so I would expect it to affect any Konquerer users too.

However I am typing this now from Google chrome and don't have this issue, in fact it's quite a lot faster than Firefox.

What is everybody else's experience? Any errors? How is performance?

Performance is not great I'm afraid. I'm using IE and every time I reload a page it counts some 300 items loading and takes about 3-4 seconds to do this.

Edit: actually it's more like 6-7 seconds.

This is due to the way we have to re draw the logo for IE6. In our tests we actually saw performance of <2s.

I can change this at the expensive of a pretty logo in IE6 though (I guess you'd prefer performance to beauty).

I'll treat it as high priority.

Yeah, I think you'll have to. People tend to be very picky regarding performance these days and have no patience what so ever to wait for pages to load (myself included). More and more people are using other browsers than IE but most companies still only support IE. So people surfing on work computers usually can only surf via IE.
