1. Your rep will appear under your subscribed threads
2. To see new contributions to the threads to which you have contributed, your subscribed threads setting on the Edit/Options page thread subscription must be set up to one of the other options other than "no subscription". Then it will give you your list of subscribed threads embolded every time you log in...
The reputation must be earned by members over a prolonged period of contribution and from many other members. The reputation award strength will be set accordingly to avoid it becoming a cheesy farce.

Love Thanks but not a great fan of Rep or Groans. I'm glad to see though that you now also see how many Thanks and Groans someone has given and not just how many have been received. That's a great improvement.
TBH, I don't really think it is necessary although it is good of you to do this. IMHO the green/red thing is worthless because of abuse. I haven't been back to the old place since I was banned, but I imagine that my name is mud and I have collected many red lumps which are proof or representative of not much.
Your name is not mud and in my opinion has never been. I never could work out why you were banned. Do you support Spurs
