It is simply them being pragmatic and saving
themselves money. The cost of delivering letters to
BigD Acres Farm on the mountaintop in Appenzell will be dramatically reduced if we can persuade Farmer BigD to use a PO Box. In fact slap-my-thigh,we'll let him have one
gratis and make him think we are doing him a favour and hope he doesnt know about our madate to deliver to
all citizens - however inaccessible - for one postage stamp price....dress me up and call me Susan if it ain't so.
