Montgomerys is generally thought of to be the best. I've had it here 3 times and I just find it to be too crumbly with too many blue veins. Of the top 3 West Country cheddars I prefer Westcombe and from the rest if the UK Lincolnshire Poacher and Isle of Mull.

If they had done the top 20 we could have included Stilton and Lancashire Hotpot (damn that's hard to say for a Yorkshireman)
