Me and the hubster think the same way - we aren't all "fluffy bunnykins" the rest of the year so the annual Hallmark hearts and flowers would be a bit awkwardly out of character for us.

As he says - if I want to buy you a box of choccies or a new Wii game, why do I have to wait till the middle of Feb to do it?

I told him from the beginning not to buy me flowers. Ever. They get plonked in a vase of water, water dries up, then flowers wilt, die, turn a bit mouldy and they end up with me cursing their long stalks trying to fit the mouldy bits in the bin.
